Dr. Raj Bhandari

Born in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Raj Bhandari graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa Medical School. He later went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Subsequently completing a chief medical residency at the same hospital.
Dr. Bhandari later completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. During his fellowship he conducted several research studies which have been published. In 2002, Dr. Bhandari became the Primary Investigator at Delta Research Partners where he manages several IBD clinical trials.

The Endoscopy Center of Monroe is an ambulatory care center designed specifically to perform outpatient endoscopy. The center is equipped with state of the art equipment. All physicians and staff are trained in the latest technological advances in the treatment of digestive disease.

Delta Research Partners was founded in 2003. Located in Monroe, Louisiana, Delta is an independent research center dedicated to conducting high-quality clinical research trials in multiple therapeutic areas. Delta has a strong network represented by our Principal Investigator and several Sub-Investigators, all board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Our team is lead by Principal Investigator, Dr. Raj Bhandari, who is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Nutrition.
The Gastrointestinal (GI) Clinic at St. Paul’s provides endoscopic procedures on an outpatient, inpatient, and emergency basis. It is supported by gastroenterology and colorectal surgery. The clinic performs over 9,000 standard and specialized procedures each year.
