Easy Crohn's Recipe: 'Nice Cream' with (nutritional) toppings too!

Your first step is to stock up on bananas. For a single serving, plan on using 2 bananas. If you make this vegan ice cream in batches, you’ll want anywhere between 4 and 8 bananas. To make the best nice cream, wait until they are ripe—but still firm.

These Crohn’s-friendly desserts take only 5-10 minutes to prepare and can be stored in the freezer for about a week. The ice cream itself is low-calorie, with about 150 calories per serving, but you can add toppings to boost the nutritional value of this healthy, sweet treat!
